Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires Demo Coming Early 2022; New Gameplay Features Trailer

Koei Tecmo has shared a new gameplay features trailer on Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires. Along with the video, the company has announced an early 2022 demo for the Musou action title. This is likely to come before February 15, 2022, which is the release date for the game on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The demo will include castle sieges with both invasion and defense battles modes so players can compare them to previous experiences with the series. Besides that, the character creation feature will also be available and this data can be transferred to the full release.

Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires allows players to experience the legendary events of the Three Kingdoms. With your own character, you’re able to create a vagrant force and unify Ancient China. Conquering the whole map also involves the Politics System, so players have to be wise on recruiting officers and procuring resources rather than only battling mindlessly.

There are also the castle siege moments in which players have to plan how to strategically take down enemies’ forces. But overall, the biggest new features compared to the original release are the new strategic layers to the character creation mode, as Dynasty Warriors 9 only featured historic officers.
