Dying Light’s Hellraid DLC Gets Free Update with Solo and Co-Op Story Mode, New Areas, and Other Improvements

Developer Techland has announced that the Hellraid DLC for their survival horror title Dying Light has received a considerable free updating adding various improvements and content.

A thrilling story mode has been added to the Hellraid DLC that has players adventuring within the depths of the Ba’al’s Temple to rescue the captive adept mage, Lucius. Three quests, known as Clavis Stone, Imprisoned, and Beneath Seals, are now all available to play via solo or co-op mode. This story mode is part of the DLC’s already existing Raid Mode, which can only be accessed after the new narrative prologue is completed.

Alongside new locales, skeleton enemies that wield shields will require an offensive take on defeating.

Two new weapons have been added, including Hellraid’s first-ever ranged weapon, the Corrupted Justice bow. A two-handed hammer known as Bonecruncher has also been added to the combative fray.

Graphical capabilities have been enhanced as well as quality of life updates with lighting system improvements, environmental sounds for further atmospheric immersion, more fluid animation, inventory management, added mini-map functionality, and much more.

Dying Light: Hellraid is currently available for purchase on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Hellraid is also included in Dying Light: Platinum Edition.
