Dying Light 2 Showcases Undead Enemies and Sound Design in New Gameplay Trailer

Techland released new gameplay for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Steam on December 7, 2021.

The gameplay trailer dives into how players will navigate the world using stealth elements as they investigate buildings during missions. We also get a look at some of the tougher enemy types that are stronger and have status affect attacks. Getting spotted during these moments requires players to stay quiet during tense situations or they’ll alert a swarm of the undead.

Additionally, we get a look at how the team produced the sound effects for the zombies and some of the attacks. Further, parkour exploration is back and looks better than ever.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is the newest entry on this parkour zombie-killing experience, and it seems like there’s a lot for players to be excited about. During gameplay, players will interact with multiple factions around the open world and complete campaign quests.

Through these missions, players will learn the parrels that these humans face. However, new zombies are introduced that have special powers. These enemies will probably be best to avoid and run from, which is where the parkour comes into play as the game features a deeper sense of verticality.

In Dying Light 2, players assume the role of Aiden Caldwell, who has found his way to The City, the last bastion of humanity where factions fight for power and regular citizens fight to stay alive. It’s going to be up to the player to choose Aiden’s fate through missions and decisions. This story is in the player’s hands.
