Dying Light 2 Livestream Scheduled Thursday for Possible Release Date Reveal
Techland is teasing a Dying Light 2 update scheduled for later this week. Fans are anticipating news about the game’s release date and hopefully a chance to see gameplay. At this point, I’m not sure which I want to see more of.
The live stream is scheduled for May 27, 2021, at 12 PM PDT hosted on the developer’s Twitch channel.
The tease reads, “Are You Daying 2 Know More?” Well, yes, after a few delays, the Dying Light series has garnered love from the zombie-killing community of players for its parkour exploration systems and over-the-top means of re-killing the dead.
In Dying Light 2, players assume the role of Aiden Caldwell, who has found his way to The City, the last bastion of humanity where factions fight for power and regular citizens fight to stay alive. It’s going to be up to the player to choose Aiden’s fate through missions and decisions. This story is in the player’s hands.
In case you missed it, check out nearly 30-minutes of gameplay shown at E3 2019. You can also check out this video of the developer reading mean tweets.
Dying Light 2 is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. We are guessing the reveal may also include a next-gen console announcement.
