Dying Light 2 Release Window Revealed in Insane, New Trailer

Today at Microsoft’s E3 conference, a new trailer was shown for Dying Light 2, the upcoming survival horror action game sequel to Dying Light — developed by Techland and published by Techland Publishing. With the trailer, a Spring 2020 release window was also revealed and the game is set to launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Dying Light 2 takes place 15 years after the events of the first game, in a world that’ set in a modern dark age. Players will be exploring a fictional European city filled with corruption as factions are all fighting to take control of the city. The decisions that the player will make with each faction throughout the game will have some major consequences, so players will need to be mindful of every action they take.

The first Dying Light was praised for its parkour gameplay, and thankfully, Dying Light 2 will continue to have the same gameplay, just upgraded it seems. The main protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, appears to be quite a nimble fella who’s heavily skilled in combat.

Will have more details for the game during E3, so no worries there.
