Techland released a new video where they read tweets from fans demanding Dying Light 2 updates. This comes after the game received an indefinite delay to refine systems.
The video is humorous in many ways as the developers react to the comments made by fans. What’s even more fun is that these types of questions from fans are rarely given any recognition from the development team. The PR for it seems like a nightmare to deal with, given that it could just be people saying mean things. However, this team seems to embrace it.
The video concludes with the team promising more news soon and some gameplay from Dying Light 2. Additionally, there’s a Discord set up for those wishing to ask the developers questions, which they will answer in future videos.
The video also confirms a 2021 release, or perhaps more news in 2021. It basically just says 2021.
In Dying Light 2, players assume the role of Aiden Caldwell, who has found his way to The City, the last bastion of humanity where factions fight for power and regular citizens fight to stay alive. It’s going to be up to the player to choose Aiden’s fate through missions and decisions. This story is in the player’s hands.
In case you missed it, check out nearly 30-minutes of gameplay shown at E3 2019.
Dying Light 2 is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
