Dying Light 2 Delays First Major Story DLC to September 2022

Developer Techland has announced that the first major story DLC for their sandbox adventure game, Dying Light 2, has been delayed from early Summer 2022 to September 2022. The reasoning given for this delay was for the sake of providing the “absolute highest level of polish.” No concrete release date has been stated yet, but that will assuredly be given the closer we get to September 2022. For now, fans can enjoy the myriad of other additions the title has received, such as co-op improvements and new game plus.

In Dying Light 2, players assume the role of Aiden Caldwell, who has found his way to The City, the last bastion of humanity where factions fight for power and regular citizens fight to stay alive. It’s going to be up to the player to choose Aiden’s fate through missions and decisions. This story is in the player’s hands.

Dying Light 2 is in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
