Nicalis announced that the Team Horay-developed 2D action-platformer Dungreed will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 27.
The game will release both digitally and physically, with the physical release packed with a Soundtrack and full-color instruction manual.
Dungreed has players assume the role of an adventurer who sets out to explore a continuously evolving dungeon to preview the town from being consumed. The dungeon is procedurally generated and will vary across each run.
Players can advance through the dungeon by defeating enemies using magical items and weapons that range from rusty swords to sniper rifles. Before taking on the tougher enemies, players can train to find better weapons and get further in the dungeon.
Dungreed features both single players and two player c0-op game modes where player two plays as a Shiba dog that uses a machine gun and collects item drops.
Dungreed will launch digitally for $14.99, while the physical release will retail for $29.99 and can be purchased from the Nicalis online store.
The publisher also released a new trailer showing gameplay and the dungeon layouts along with some of the enemies that players will encounter. There’s also some killer music.
