NIS America announced that the Experience-developed dungeon-crawling RPG Saviors of Sapphire Wings will launch in the west on Nintendo Switch and PC on March 16, 2021, in North America, March 19 in Europe, and March 23 in Oceania.

The publisher released a new gameplay trailer that dives into the release’s gameplay features and systems alongside the announcement. Players get the chance to quickly see how they can build their party and explore dungeons across each title. Additionally, we get a look at the battle systems and character interactions.

Saviors of Sapphire Wings takes place in a world that has been plunged into ruin after the Overlord of Darkness defeated the Knight of the Round. A hero returns to a new life a century later and leads a new bastion of heroes to restore light and hope to the world.

The western release of Saviors of Sapphire Wings will also include a copy of Stranger of Sword City Revisited. This version of the game will include additional content such as expanded character creation options, in-game events, and new items and equipment.

Saviors of Sapphire Wings features party creation as players develop their playstyle, they can create a group of warriors that reflect that. Using members that can use various traps and tactics to exploit weaknesses is key for survival.

Players can also interact with their party members and build their bonds with them. This will improve their reliability in battle and unlock special scenarios.
