Side-Scrolling Tower Defense ‘Duel Princess’ Coming to Switch in the West Next Month
Qureate announced they will release Duel Princess on Nintendo Switch in the west on January 13, 2022.
Duel Princess is set in a world where a fierce battle between princesses is about to begin. Gameplay has players control characters through side-scrolling tower defense portions of gameplay where they lead unit from their castle towards the Princess’ castle and capture it. Further, there are roguelike elements that let you build new decks each time you play through the story mode.
The publisher also mentions that there are many “sexy rewards that men all over the world can enjoy.”

The game will cost $24.99 at launch on Nintendo Swithc. A PC release has not been announced, but the publisher has previously released their games on Switch first before releasing them on Steam at a later date. The game will support Japanese, English, Chinese Traditional, and Chinese Simplified text options.
