Dragon Star Varnir Gets Uncut PC Release Date in the West With Deluxe Edition Preview
Idea Factory International announced that their adventure RPG Dragon Star Varnir will release on PC-via Steam this October 9.
The Deluxe Edition of the game will include:
- Character and Background Art Collection
- Rough Art Collection
- PC Wallpaper (x3)
- Mobile Wallpaper (x6)
- Soundtrack (12 tracks)
Dragon Star Varnir was previously released on PlayStation 4 in the west, which contained two altered CG images. However, the PC version of the game will include all gameplay and art content from the Japanese version of the game as well as English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. This means that the two altered CG images in the western release for the PlayStation 4 version will not be altered/censored for the PC version release in the west. The images include an upskirt and bath CG.
In Dragon Star Varnir, players will find that Zephy is tasked with hunting dragon-birthing witches originally but soon finds his fate intertwined with his former enemies. It’s from then on that Zephy must fight alongside them as the fates of the dragons rest in their hands. Along the adventure, Zephy will meet other witches from all walks of life as well as intimidating foes who are out to exterminate both witches and dragon kind alike.
