Dragon Star Varnir Introduces Main Protagonists in New Trailer

Idea Factory International has released a new Overview trailer for their upcoming JRPG Dragon Star Varnir, coming to PlayStation 4 on June 11 in North America and June 14 in Europe.

The trailer highlights Zephy’s, the main character of the game, journey to lift the curse placed upon the Witches of Varneria, who are cursed to give birth to dragons. In addition, the trailer revisits the pillars of 3-Tiered Battles, including the Devour, Dragon Awakening, and Dragon Core systems. From watching the trailer in its entirety, it seems that Zephy is going to undergo one heck of a crazy journey, to say the least.

In Dragon Star Varnir, players will find that Zephy is tasked with hunting dragon-birthing witches originally but soon finds his own fate intertwined with his former enemies. It’s from then on that Zephy must fight alongside them as the fates of the dragons rest in their hands. Along the adventure, Zephy will meet other witches from all walks of life as well as intimidating foes who are out to exterminate both witches and dragon kind alike.
