Dragon Star Varnir Launching for Switch This August; Can Currently Be Wishlisted
Publisher Idea Factory has announced that the Compile Heart-developed Dragon Star Varnir will be launching for Nintendo Switch on August 3, 2021. This title has been available on PlayStation 4 and PC. However, the Switch version of the title will include the additional weapons, armor, and level caps previously only available for purchase on other platforms for free.
Dragon Star Varnir was previously released on PlayStation 4 in the west, which contained two altered CG images. However, the PC version of the game includes all gameplay and art content from the Japanese version of the game and English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese subtitles. This means that the two altered CG images in the western release for the PlayStation 4 version are not altered/censored in the PC version release in the west. The images include an upskirt and bath CG.
The publisher has confirmed that the Switch version will contain all of the CGs cropped from the PS4 version.
The digital version of the game can currently be wishlisted on the Nintendo eShop.
