Square Enix released a new trailer for Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S Definitive Edition, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam and Epic Games Store on December 4.
The trailer highlights the updates that have been added to the game including the new characters and side stories. Additionally, players can get a preview of the retro 2D mode along with the option to switch between Japanese and English audio.
ragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S Definitive Edition is the most updated version of Dragon Quest XI S, which was previously exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S Definitive Edition includes over 100 hours of gameplay as players take on a quest that leads them across various environments and oceans. This version including new character side stories, which adds even more to the game’s runtime. Additionally, the version will include the 2D mode that allows players to play through a 2D retro-inspired version.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S Definitive Edition will also include Japanese audio along with the English audio option and a photo mode for players to take pictures and catalog their adventure. This is the first time the series has been made available on Xbox hardware.
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is a standalone adventure in the Dragon Quest series and features new characters and a new battle features. Players will control a boy as he enters his coming of age ceremony at the age of 16. Evidently, it’s discovered that he is the reincarnation of a hero that saved the world many years before. This puts a heavy mission on the boy and he must set out on the quest he’s been destined with.
