Dragon Quest Treasures Receives New English Teaser Trailer; More News June 2022

Square Enix has shared a brief English teaser trailer for the previously announced Dragon Quest Treasures. Not much is shown throughout this video, as it primarily highlights more of the cast and environments. However, more news is promised to be arriving in June 2022.

This is a brand new title in the Dragon Quest franchise while keeping the familiar look of the series. The announcement trailer showed Eric using monsters to explore the world and solve puzzles to open treasures.

Little else has been revealed except that it will go over the sibling’s past and that it will still be an RPG. Which systems and a release date has been promised to be announced later alongside a promised simultaneous worldwide release.

Hopefully, more news regarding Dragon Quest XII will be released soon. In an interview that was shared during the title’s initial announcement, it was revealed that “Dragon Quest XII is being developed with the next 10 to 20 years of the series in mind. There are parts that match the image of what a conventional Dragon Quest game is, but new parts are also needed. After all, innovation is always necessary as a brand.”

A recent ongoing mobile game for the Dragon Quest franchise is Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds.
