Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds Opens Pre-Registration for Western Release

Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds will launch on iOS and Android in the west.

The publisher has confirmed that the game will receive a closed beta on Android from April 4 through April 15, with registration available now. Players can also pre-register for Android on the official website.

Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds has players set out on an adventure to defeat the Hadlar, the Dark Lord. In these times, many years have passed since The Hero has restored peace to the land, but a boy name Dai dreams of becoming a hero. Isolated on a small island and living amongst monsters, he gets word that the Dark Lord has been revived and decides that he’ll be the one to stop him.

Gameplay features different options, Dragon-Tracks and Bonding Journey. In Dragon Tracks, players can follow the original story of Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, with returning characters and events. While in Bonding Journey, players will experience an all-new story written under the supervision of Riku Sanjo. This takes players to the world of Milladosia, which resembles the world in The Adventure of Dai.

The battle system features a three-lane system where players can attack using their party members. There are also co-op multiplayer options for up to three players.
