Alongside the latest update for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, which implemented numerous alterations to combat and navigation, the game’s Steam port was revealed to have removed the anti-tamper tool, Denuvo.
For those unaware, Denuvo DRM is an infamous anti-tampering tool usually associated with making games perform worse than they should.
Square often removes Deunvo from the Steam versions of its titles quite a while after their respective releases, and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is no different; the latest instance involved Final Fantasy XVI.
