Dragon Quest Builders introduces a suite of crafting enhancements to enrich the building experience. Players can now place blocks with a simple mouse click and demolish blocks or items more effortlessly. An Undo Button has been integrated, allowing players to conveniently revert changes and restore their creations. The “Big Bash” feature, borrowed from Dragon Quest Builders 2, enables the simultaneous destruction of multiple objects within a specific area.

The game also offers a collection of in-game items, such as NPC and monster figures, and a system for gathering pixels, which can be traded for various useful items. Furthermore, players can convert their structures into Build Cards to share with friends and incorporate their friends’ buildings into their own islands by scanning.

The “Terra Incognita” expansion brings additional content to enhance the gaming experience. It includes a Boss Monster Model Set, allowing players to place sizable, posable monster figures within their worlds. The Astronomy Set lights up the night sky with ten celestial bodies, adding a cosmic touch to the players’ backyards.

The Pixel Ring is more than an aesthetic addition; it increases the number of pixels players receive from defeated enemies in “Terra Incognita,” which can be used to craft special items at the “Dragon Quest Game Pack” workstation. Lastly, the Magic Carpet offers a novel way to navigate, build, and explore, complete with a unique musical accompaniment, adding an extra layer of magic to the players’ adventures.

Dragon Quest Builders is also available on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
