Dragon Quest Builders 2 Launches Season Pass Adding New Areas and Customization Items
Square Enix has launched the Dragon Quest Builders 2 Season Pass DLC for PlayStation 4.
Owners of the season pass will begin receiving early access to content starting today, including:
- Hotto Stuff Pack: 40 new recipes to assist players in designing and decorating their structures in the style of Hotto Steppe, a resting area in a distant land. This will also open a new island for players to gather materials for the items.
- Aquarium Pack – Opens a fishing island where players can catch 40 different kinds of fish to add to their DIY aquarium.
- Modernist Pack – Includes over 70 recipes for modern-looking structures, along with hairstyles and clothing. This one is for the Millenials.
The Hotto Pack is available today, with the following packs available on August 2. A free DLC item is also available to players today called the Knickknack Pack, which includes recipes for Celebratory Soup, Ornate Adornment, and Pretty Paddie.
Lastly, PlayStation Plus subscribers have access to two additional pack for new recipes.
The publisher did not mention if this will be coming to Nintendo Switch or not.
During gameplay, players can collect material and build structures such as houses, towns, anything really. The game also allows players to adventure around the island and fight off monsters who also drop usable materials. In this entry in the series, players can swim and glide to make exploring more fun.
