Dragon Quest Builders 2 Gets New Trailer Showing Multiplayer Gameplay

Square Enix released a new trailer for their creation adventure RPG Dragon Quest Builder 2, coming to PlayStation 4 on July 12.

During the trailer, players can check out the multiplayer feature in the game where they’ll be able to jump into the world of Dragon Quest and explore together. Additionally, players will be able to create a character, interact with NPCs, and customize their characters giving a whole new way to enjoy the game with other players.

Currently, a free demo of the game is available to players who wish to give the game a shot before launch.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 tells the story of an adventurer, which is the player’s created character, who washes up on the shores of the deserted Isle of Awaking. After being visited by a spirit, the player sets off on an adventure to gather the skills need to become a builder and return the lands to greatest in an attempt to fight back against the Children of Hargon.

During gameplay, players can collect material and build structures such as houses, towns, anything really. The game also allows players to adventure around the island and fight off monsters who also drop usable materials. In this entry in the series, players can swim and glide to make exploring more fun.
