Dragon Quest Builders 2 Gets Free Jumbo Demo for PC Players Ahead of Launch

Square Enix announced that PC players can download the free Jumbo Demo of Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Steam ahead of its December 10 launch.

In the demo, players will be able to begin their journey as a “Master Builder” with access to the first three areas of the game, including the tutorial area, the deserted Isle of Awakening, and a large portion of the Furrowfield island. Players who pick up the game after playing the demo will also be able to use their save file to continue the adventure.

he Steam version of the game will include all DLC that has been released on PS4, including Season Pass DLC such as, recipes, hairstyles, clothing, and additional areas to explore. Also included is the Hotto Stuff Pack, Aquarium Pack, and the Modernist Pack DLC.

Those who purchase the game before January 6 will receive extra bonuses, including:

  • Ornamental Medicinal Herb Recipe
  • Dragon Quest Logo Recipe
  • Ornamental Chimaera Wing Recipe
  • Five Sigil Block Recipes for building decorative blocks with sun, stars, moon, water and soul motifs
  • Legendary Line Art Recipe
  • Lo-Res Luminary Recipes

Dragon Quest Builders 2 has players collect material and build structures such as houses, towns, anything really. The game also allows players to adventure around the island and fight off monsters who also drop usable materials. In this entry in the series, players can swim and glide to make exploring more fun. There is a narrative that is completely standalone and doesn’t require you to play the first entry in the series.
