Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Livestream Later this Month Has English Broadcast Teasing New Titles

The Dragon Quest franchise will celebrate its 35th anniversary at the end of this month with a special anniversary livestream. There is currently much vagueness on what to expect title-wise, aside from a teased comprehensive listing of what fans can expect from the franchise going forward.

This is the first time in the franchise’s history where an English broadcast will occur simultaneously with the Japanese one, with live translations from the Japanese stream taking place.

JOY, a TV personality, will be the presenter, and game designer Yuji Horii will be a special guest.

Many potential announcements can be made, and excitement is certainly amping up, especially with an English broadcast occurring simultaneously. Perhaps there will be news on a collection for Dragon Quests 4-6, announcements of Dragon Quest Heroes 3 or Dragon Quest Builders 3, or maybe even the elusively fabled Dragon Quest XII. May 27 is Dragon Quest day as well, so a sizable announcement can be expected.

I, for one, can not wait for this upcoming live stream. With this taking place and E3 broadcasting next month, there is assuredly going to be a plethora of content for all types of gamers to feast on.

You can view the upcoming English livestream for the Dragon Quest 35th anniversary here, which is taking place on May 26 at 11:30 PM EST.
