Dragon Marked for Death Gets New Release Date and Physical Version

Inti Creates announced during their Anime NYC panel new details for their upcoming action RPG Dragon Marked for Death, which has been delayed from it’s planned December 13 release date to January 31 for Nintendo Switch.

Dragon Marked for Death will be available digitally as two separate packs for $14.99, The Frontline Fighters pack and Advanced Attackers pack. Each pack will include two of the four characters available in the game, Empress and Warrior in the Frontline and Shinobi and Witch in the Attackers. Each character has a special skill and ability that can be used while exploring to access different paths as well as unique strengths in battle.

Additionally, a physical release was announced by publisher Nighthawk with a planned retail release set for after the game’s digital release. The physical version will have all four characters playable on the cartridge.

Dragon Marked for Death puts players in control of one of four characters that they can level up in a single player campaign or with up to four players online. However, the player’s character level and story progression transfer between the two modes to allow players to never lose progress.

However, we didn’t get a new trailer, but the developer did release a new anime-style trailer showing characters and action.

Author’s take: This game is going to be worth the wait. I’ve played it for about an hour and was pretty hooked on the mechanics and battle system. I’m excited to get more time into the game.
