8-Year Old Mobile Shmup ‘Dragon Flight’ Launches in the West
Line Games announced that their classic shooter Dragon Flight is available now in the West on iOS and Android devices.
Dragon Flight initially launched in South Korea in 2012 and has been in service for eight years receiving regular updated and holding an active player community. The game is designed for one-handed play and lets players swipe left or right to maneuver their character known as a Hatchling while avoiding bullets and shooting down enemies.
Dragon Flight features a few competitive modes with “League Battle,” ranking the sum of the score of the stages ‘Dark Castle’ and ‘Queen of Ruin’ held every week. Players can also participate in ‘Squad Duel’ and ‘Arena’ to compete head-to-head against other teams and players. Other PvP modes available are Squad Duel and Arena.
Players who download the game during the launch event will receive a three-star Harchling named Eight and Legendary Weapon “Global Launch Spear.” Additionally, players will receive two new costumes, Strawberry Cake Dress and Blueberry Cake Suit. The publisher has also unlocked Beginner Quest and Special Supply to gain items that will help players early on.
We’ll be sure to update you on Dragon Flight’s global release, which is strange to be even writing about right now.
