Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Introduces Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan in New Screenshots
Bandai Namco released some screenshots showing gameplay from their newly announced title Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2020.
The screenshots introduce a large batch of characters that fans will easily recognize. Seeing them rendered in the game shows that they each will retain their characteristics and likenesses along with their signature abilities and skills. It’s going to be interesting to see how they each interact during the game’s story more as well as if the developer will take any liberties with the flow of the game’s timeline.
Additionally, the screenshots also show some moments of dialogue gameplay and events that take place in the game. Hopefully, more information about the gameplay outside of battles is revealed soon.
During gameplay, players will assume the role of Goku as they play through his story and work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
The game seems to be the perfect starting point for anyone looking to understand one of the greatest sagas in Dragon Ball lore. They will experience all of the Super Saiyan transformations and battles that have been the launching ground for what many fans would argue is the best saga in the series.
