Bandai Namco released new screenshots for the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2020.
The screenshots introduce Trunks, a fan-favorite amongst many Dragon Ball Z fans. Son of Vegeta and Bulma, the young and ambitious fighter has traveled through time to save the ones he loves from the Android threat.
During Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, players will assume the role of Goku as they play through his story and work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
Also at Gamescom 2019, the publisher released new screenshots of a brand new character to join the cast, Bunyo. Her role is mysterious at this time, but she is a former member of the Gunyo Force. The character was created for the title by Akira Toriyama.
More information will be released about the game, but we do know that it will include the Cell Arc.
