Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Introduces Support and Playable Characters in New Gameplay Trailer

Bandai Namco released a video for the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on January 17, 2020.

The trailer introduces the support characters who can join the player in battle and be used to extend combos. The supporting cast can unleash their moves and act independently in action, and be used to debuff the enemy, such as blinding or restraining them.

Additionally, players will be able to play as other characters other than Goku. Some playable characters will need to be selected to play certain sub-quests. Playable characters include Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Goku must work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga, where Goku will encounter many foes, including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.

Recently, the publisher released a new gameplay trailer of Vegeta in action, along with a brand new character to join the cast, Bunyo. Her role is mysterious at this time, but she is a former member of the Gunyo Force. The character was created for the title by Akira Toriyama.
