Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Reveals Super Saiyan Gods in New Story DLC Coming Later This Week
Bandai Namco announced that the CyberConnect2-developed adventure RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, will launch its first story DLC on April 28.
Titled New Power Awakens – Part 1, players will join Goku and Vegeta as they train in hopes of awakening the rumored Super Saiyan God mode in order to defeat Beerus, a powerful enemy who destroys worlds. Beerus is incredibly strong being a level 100 opponent, so players will need to be prepared to face him.
This is the first DLC for the adventure game and will provide a few new opportunities for players to gain experience points and earn additional abilities. Given that this is only part 1, it seems the publisher has plans to continue to release additional story content in the future. Hopefully, this one doesn’t leave off on too much a cliffhanger.
In Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Goku must work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga, where Goku will encounter many foes, including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
