Bandai Namco launched a new trailer showing gameplay from the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2020.
The trailer is only 30 seconds long and is meant to be a teaser for a what is to believed to be a much longer trailer. Players can see Goku acting silly with his tail, catching a fish, and fighting. The trailer also gives a quick look at the open world.
During gameplay, players will assume the role of Goku as they play through his story and work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
The game seems to be the perfect starting point for anyone looking to understand one of the greatest sagas in Dragon Ball lore. They will experience all of the Super Saiyan transformations and battles that have been the launching ground for what many fans would argue is the best saga in the series.
