Bandai Namco released new details for the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on January 17, 2020.
During Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, players will be able to explore the world of Dragon Ball Z and with that comes searching for the seven Dragon Balls scattered around the environment. By locating and collecting them, players can revive Shenron and revive previously defeated enemies.
Why would someone want to do that? Well, say for example you revive Frieza and beat him, well during that fight if Goku reaches Super Saiyan 3, a transformation that never took place in the anime, players can witness an interaction between the characters that is brand new.
Defeating these enemies will grant the player addition XP and unlock Soul Emblems that players can use in the Community Boards to unlock new skills and abilities.
DuringDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Goku must work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga, where Goku will encounter many foes, including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
