Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Gets Screenshots Showing Characters and Ki Blasts

Bandai Namco released some screenshots showing gameplay from their newly announced title Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2020.

The screenshots essentially show much of what was shown during the E3 2019 reveal. In the screenshots, players can see the level of detail that the developers at CyberConnect2 have put into the game.

During gameplay, players will assume the role of Goku as they play through his story and work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.

The game seems to be the perfect starting part for anyone looking to understand one of the greatest sagas in Dragon Ball lore. They will experience all of the Super Saiyan transformations and battles that have been the launching ground for what many fans would argue is the best saga in the series.

More information about the game, mechanics, and systems will be released soon.
