Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Gets PS4, Xbox One, and PC Release Date Along With New Trailer
Bandai Namco announced that the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on January 17, 2020.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be available in a Deluxe, Ultimate, and Collector’s Edition along with a Super Saying Pre-Order offer. The Collector’s Edition will include:
- A copy of the game on PS4 or Xbox One
- Hardcover Game Artbook
- Steelbook
- Exclusive Diorama Figure
During Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, players will assume the role of Goku as they play through his story and work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
Also at Gamescom 2019, the publisher released new screenshots of a brand new character to join the cast, Bunyo. Her role is mysterious at this time, but she is a former member of the Gunyo Force. The character was created for the title by Akira Toriyama.
More information will be released about the game, but we do know that it will include the Cell Arc.
