Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Details Gameplay, Story and Systems in New Video

Bandai Namco released a video for the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on January 17, 2020.

The video goes into detail about the game’s story and features. Players will experience the game as Goku who can travel through the world and interact with fan-favorite characters. However, the game will also include interactions with characters who were not in the anime but only discussed it. The game tries to add that level of service that die-hard fans will appreciate and focus on delivering a memorable experience to them.

Throughout the game, Goku must work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.

Also at Gamescom 2019, the publisher released new screenshots of a brand new character to join the cast, Bunyo. Her role is mysterious at this time, but she is a former member of the Gunyo Force. The character was created for the title by Akira Toriyama.
