Developer CyberConnect2 and publisher Bandai Namco have announced the new DLC arriving to the story-focused Dragon Ball console game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. This additional storyline, titled “Chaos at the World Tournament,” occurs during the 23rd World Tournament from the original Dragon Ball series. A recently grown-up Goku will battle Piccolo for the world’s fate.

The CyberConnect2 developed JRPG based on the popular Dragon Ball series follows the adventures of Goku and the other Z fighters from the Saiyan saga up to the Majin Buu saga and features an action combat system where you can fly around the battlefield, exchange close-ranged blows with your opponents and perform special Ki-based attacks.
Several RPG systems are in place as well, allowing for a natural sense of combat and character progression alongside the story arcs from the beloved source material.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
