Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s Story to Include Cell Arc Revealed in New Trailer
Bandai Namco launched a new trailer showing gameplay from the CyberConnect2 developed adventure game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2020.
The trailer reveals that the story will include one of the most popular Arcs of the Dragon Ball Z series, the Cell Arc. This was an important announcement for the publisher as they are aiming to present the most detailed and true retelling of the Dragon Ball Z story, which makes this a huge moment for them.
To celebrate, the publisher released a new trailer taking fans new and old back to some pretty intense moments of power as these characters do their best to take down one of the strongest fighters. Additionally, players get to see some story elements as Goku and Gohan interact for some moments of bonding.
During gameplay, players will assume the role of Goku as they play through his story and work hard towards becoming the strongest fighter in the world, possibly even saving the world once or twice along the way. The game takes place in the Namek saga where Goku will encounter many foes including Frieza, which includes moments where almost all of Goku’s friends are defeated or killed.
