Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Reveals New Lite Version Offering Free Access to Online and Story Modes

Bandai Namco announced that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will receive a “lite” version for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 20.

The lite version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be free to download for console players and allow players to play as certain characters and experience modes, including five-story episodes.

 Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 lite will include:

Five story episodes:

  • Raditz’s Attack
  • The Saiyan Threat
  • Ruckus on Planet Namek
  • The Ginyu Force Strikes
  • The Galactic Emperor

Additional Online Battles and Online Quests will also be available along with the option to play against opponents who have the full version of the game. However, Online events and expert missions will remain exclusive to owners of the full game. Hero Colosseum mode will also be available with all content and online matches available.

Players will also be able to transfer their saved date from the lite version of the game to the full version if they choose to purchase the entire game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam.
