During Gamescom 2020, Bioware took a moment of the event to discuss what they have in development and what they have in store for Dragon Age fans.
The developers took to the screen to detail what Dragon Age means to them and what it means to the fans. The team then shows concept art of the game including some environments along with in-developer renders.
In the next Dragon Age, players will find new enemies, a new region to explore, and new stories that focus on the people around you. The developers are aiming to tell a narrative within this world and have players attach themselves and feel immersed in this new adventure.
However, one thing to note is that this is meant to be a reboot of the series. The developer is working on a brand new experience within this fantasy setting for fans to jump in for this entry.
Still, we can’t ignore that Bioware’s recent game deliveries have been less than stellar and we also can’t ignore the working conditions that have come forth in the last year. Fans are still waiting on the reboot of Anthem, which threw away its planned roadmap to develop the game further.
Dragon Age is assumed to be in development for PC and next-generation hardware.
