Dragalia Lost Announces Service Shutdown; Last Story Chapter Arriving July 2022
Breaking news: The developers of Dragalia Lost have announced the discontinuation of the game service after 3 years of being online. According to the official in-game notice, the main campaign is scheduled to reach its conclusion in July of 2022 with part two of chapter 26, and that will mark the final and climactic addition to its long-running story. After the main campaign has concluded, service for the game itself will come to a close at a later date, with further details on the end-of-service schedule to be provided in a future notification.
A final summon showcase is scheduled for March 31st, 2022, and after that, the game will not receive any new content updates aside from those for the main campaign and certain quests. Certain summon showcases for existing adventurers and dragons, as well as event revivals, will continue to be made available until service has ended. It is unknown what exactly could’ve caused the shutdown, but fans have speculated that the abundant generosity of the game might have been one of the factors.
Dragalia Lost is a swipe-controlled action RPG developed by Cygames and published by Nintendo. The story talks about the bonds shared between humans and dragons. Players must conquer their enemies using an array of powerful attacks and special skills and even by transforming into a dragon yourself, available for Android and iOS.
