Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine Receives Free Demo Available Now; New Trailer Streaming

Thunderful and Headup announced that the Team Meat-developed match-4 puzzler Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine has received a free demo on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.

The demo allows players to play through a series of early levels to get an idea of how this game differs from others in the genre. I mean, this is Meat Boy, so expect some challenging stages as you match colors and progress.

During gameplay, players will encounter stages with various gimmicks that will destroy their blocks in a very gruesome way. Yea, Dr. Fetus isn’t one to do things lightly, but this goes a bit overboard as players need to plan and strategize stages filled with traps. You can expect stages with buzz saws and missiles or a combination of the two, along with plenty of other insane traps. The game is difficult, but there are checkpoints and various means to progress. Still, skill is needed to get through the later stages.

The publisher also releases a new trailer highlighting the opening cinematic of the game.

Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2023.

You can watch the trailer below to get a better idea of the game’s narrative, but the demo is available now, so just go play that:
