Fruitbat Factory is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Orange_Juice-developed strategy game 100% Orange Juice by making it free on Steam until May 22, 2024. The publisher has also announced that it is 75% off for gifting purposes, with all the DLC at a historical discount.
“When we launched this cute little board game on Steam in 2014, we had sensed it had something special and spent extra months working on the Steam multiplayer prior to the release. However, still we couldn’t imagine it would find such a foothold in people’s hearts. 10 years and about 1000 game updates later, we’re still working on the game, trying to deliver the community’s wishes and make it ever better in cooperation with Orange Juice. There have been ups and downs over such a long period, but this has only been possible due to the community’s support, and that’s why we’re always looking for ways to give back to them. I want to thank all of our fans, and I’m looking forward to another 10 years of juice”, recounts Jakke Elonen, president of Fruitbat Factory.
The anniversary update adds new card back customization for players. Upon log-in, all players are also given 2 alternate anniversary card back options. It further expands Steam Workshop modding into the new card backs and dice graphics.
100% Orange Juice is a digital multiplay board game where the player rolls dice and collects cards to strategically win during battles. Players race around the board game and encounter other players and enemies whom they’ll need to attack with a dice roll. Stats of the character and cards are taken into consideration when fighting, but the game gets pretty crazy, especially when taking into consideration the various updates and additional characters available, along with voice-over DLC for characters.
