Dating-Sim ‘Doukyuusei: Classmates’ Delayed to 2022 in the West

Shiravune announced that the adventure dating-sim Doukyuusei: Classmates has been delayed on PC-via Johren from 2021 to 2022 in the west.

The developer didn’t mention what caused the delay, but they did share that the translation is complete. QA may be a reason as the statement also shared that they want to make Doukyuusei “the best it can be.”

Doukyuusei: Classmates is a dating sim developed by Fanza Games. The game will be available in the west in English and Chinese, with the addition of the Remake’s quality updates and improvements.

The gameplay follows the protagonist, who worked hard to gain a lot of money with the plan to use it to get a lot of girls with. Players can hit girls that they meet and improve their relationships throughout the narrative. The game is based on a title released in 1999, but the remake features updated CGs and character illustrations along with a new UI and 1080p resolution support.

There is an easy mode and classic mode for players to play through, with the default setting’s easy mode. This isn’t a walk-in-the-park adventure, though; you’ll want to spend a few hours trying to make each date go right.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Doukyuusei: Classmates.
