CFK released new screenshots and a trailer for the Frontier Aga-developed Koumajou Remilia Scarlet Symphony, coming to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on July 28, 2022.
These assets highlight a few of the updated systems found in this version of the game. The Nintendo Switch and Steam versions contain a number of enhanced features compared to the original, such as HD remastered graphics, newly added dialogues, and English language support. Further, the game features a full Japanese dub by popular voice actors.
Koumajou Remilia Scarlet Symphony was first released in 2009 as a side-scrolling action game. This is a doujin effort with characters based on the Touhou Project. The publisher has also confirmed that they have updated the title with HD remastered graphics and added bonus content.
Koumajou Remilia Scarlet Symphony features a collaboration of classic gothic horror action and the world of Touhou Project. As Reimu Hakurei, players will battle their way to the Scarlet Devil Castle to find out the cause of the disturbance that is spreading in Gensokyo.
The game is inspired by classic Metroidvania titles and features RPG upgrades, boss battles, and plenty to explore as you traverse through a castle.
