Double-Action Game ‘Brain Meltdown – Into Despair’ Releasing Digitally on Switch Next Month

Publisher CFK and developer ONFIRE Studio have announced the existence of a brand new title releasing for the Nintendo Switch, Brain Meltdown – Into Despair. This title features unique gameplay where players use two Joy-Cons simultaneously to control 2 playable characters.

The game has been positively received in its current early playable state thanks to not only its novel gameplay mechanics but also its charming hand-drawn art style and immersive soundtrack.

Not many other details were provided for this upcoming title. Still, it certainly looks engaging and unique since, despite the Joy-Cons being ideal for this type of dual adventure, it’s rarely actualized. Hopefully, this title tackles this relatively fresh concept in an enjoyable way that breaks new ground for the platformer/action scene and serves to inspire other developers to try a similarly conceptualized gameplay style.

Brain Meltdown – Into Despair is releasing for Nintendo Switch in October 2021.

No specific details on the game’s release date were provided aside from it occurring next month. Additionally, no other platforms of release were provided, which makes sense due to the gameplay requiring 2 Joy-Cons. Still, it does make me wonder how plausible this game would be to play with other controllers.
