Doraemon Story of Seasons Gets Switch and PC Release Date in the West
Bandai Namco announced that their farming simulation adventure Doraemon Story of Seasons will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam on October 11 in the west.
The game will receive a digital and physical release in Europe on Switch but will launch digital-only in North America. Given that Doraemon isn’t the most popular character in the west, this move is understandable, but it still would be nice for fans in North America to have the choice for a physical copy.
Doraemon Story of Seasons follows Noby, as well as a few other Doraemon characters, who take part in a light-hearted narrative set in a new original town. Players will develop the town along with their own farm while interactive and forming relationships with other townspeople. During the game, players are able to use Doraemon’s secret gadget that will help them progress their farming career and help out more around the town. Players will be able to farm through seasons as the harvest crops and raise livestock all while building relationships with people of this new world.
The game is a joint effort between Bandai Namco, Marvelous, and Brownies.
The publisher released some new screenshots for fans to get an early look at the localized version of the game:
