Dontnod Reveals New Narrative Adventure ‘Tell Me Why’ With Release Window

During Inside Xbox XO19 in London, Dontnod Entertainment announced their newest narrative adventure, Tell Me Why, to be published by Microsoft.

The story focuses on twins, Tyler and Alyson, who are connected by a special bond that unravels a mystery of their troubled childhood. The game is set in Alaska and brings up some pretty emotional themes of negative parenting and mental health. The trailer shows the siblings on an adventure of discovery as they search for their past and revisit painful memories.

Dontnod is about to wrap up their most recent project, Life is Strange 2, which will conclude on December 2. Tell Me Why is scheduled to be an episodic adventure, but the studio confirms that all chapters will be released in summer 2020. While the Life is Strange series focuses on the more supernatural elements, Tell Me Why seems to incorporate a more mature tone along with presenting a narrative that might be relatable to soon. However, themes of connection still seem to be a highlight in the game, which is also seen in the developer’s previous titles.

The publisher released the reveal trailer of the game which introduces Tyler and Alyson and their predicament.
