Doki Doki Literature Club Plus Announced for PC and Consoles with June Release; You’ll Actually Have to Pay for it this Time

During today’s IGN Expo Livestream, a brand new version of Doki Doki Literature Club was announced, called Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. This version of the title is stated to be coming with new side stories, improved HD visuals, 13+ new music tracks, 100+ unlocked images, and other unspecified content.

The title will be releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games store on June 30, 2021.

Creator Dan Salvato has tweeted out various information about this release, such as the new side stories numbering 6 in total and being set outside the original game’s timeline; the experience is kept to be as authentic to the original title as possible, and more.

You can pre-order the physical edition of the title from the Serenity Forge store on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for $29.99. Alternatively, the title will be available for digital purchase across all platforms for $14.99.
