Dokapon Kingdom: Connect Launching West for Switch Spring 2023; English Trailer + Screenshots

Publisher Idea Factory International has announced that the hybrid RPG party board game developed by Sting, Dokapon Kingdom: Connect, will launch Westward for Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023.

In Dokapon Kingdom: Connect, players become heroes with the objective of earning the most money they can. By spinning the wheel and landing on spaces on the board, you can trigger effects that will make you defeat monsters, get items or treasures, change jobs, get robbed by strange characters, or even steal your friends’ money.

This series is quite well-known for its brutal RNG, often putting many relationships and friendships to the test. It’s neat to finally see a resurgence of this beloved IP, and in the West, no less. Here’s hoping it performs well.

The narrative’s premise and the various gameplay systems are all highlighted, such as the Class system, several instances of combat, and the countless ways to annoy one’s opponents. It’s a rage-inducer, alright.
