DLC for Melty Blood: Type Lumina Lets You Change the Audio for Title Announcements; For Those Who Just Can’t Get Enough Saber

Type-Moon launched new audio DLC for Melty Blood: Type Lumina for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch PC-via Steam.

The paid DLC is titled Round Announcements and allows players to choose the audio that is played during battles, title calls, the character select, “TUTORIAL”, “MISSION”, and other announcements. Players can change the audio from Sound Settings.

The characters available are Shiki Tohno, Arcueid, Ciel, Akiha Tohno, Hisui, Kohaku, Noel, Vlov, Roa, Red Arcueid, Kouma Kishima, Miyako Arima, and Saber. Each character can be purchased individually for $2.99 or as a set for $29.99.

“DLC: Arcueid Round Announcements” will be available for free download as an early purchase bonus until October 27, 2021.

Melty Blood is a fighting game series that started as a doujin game back in 2002. It is developed as a collaboration between Type-Moon (Tsukihime, Fate/Stay Night) and French-Bread. (Under Night In-Birth, Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax)

This newest entry of the series is based on the recent Japanese released remake of Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon. As such, this title will also act as a reboot for the fighting series including HD environments, and upgraded visuals reflecting the remake of the visual novel. French-Bread has also rebuilt the battle system to include multiple combos that can be pulled even by newcomers.
