Distant Memoraĵo Coming West; A Yuri Visual Novel That Teaches Esperanto

MangaGamer announced they will publish the SukeraSparo-developed educational yuri visual novel Distant Memoraĵo in the west on PC.

Distant Memoraĵo is a continuation of the 2019 release The Expression: Amrilato. This new title adds a new chapter to the yuri romance between Rin and Ruka.

The game takes place after a choice made to stay in Ruka’s mysterious world and Rin regrets her decision when the weight of learning a new language raises new barriers. Haunted by memories of her best friend Yuuzu and others she’s left behind. Ruka, too, is troubled by Kanako, a classmate who seems to have it out for her. Unspoken thoughts, assumed feelings, and misunderstandings threaten to pry them apart as they face the challenges of communication involved in becoming more than just friends.

In this new release, we learn more about the characters and their past. This story of Rei and Ruka’s past will explore how the two met, why Rei took on the mantle of guardianship, and their attempts to understand one another across an age gap.

Distant Memoraĵo is an all-ages visual novel with yuri themes. The story is mostly educational as it teaches readers Esperanto through interactive choices.
