The season finale of Dispatch, the narrative-driven superhero workplace comedy from AdHoc Studio, is now available, completing the eight-episode series on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. With the final two episodes released, players can now experience Robert Robertson’s full arc.
Since its debut on October 22, Dispatch has sold over a million copies within ten days. Its episodic structure has helped build momentum, with concurrent players on Steam jumping from 12,000 at launch to over 131,000 during the release of Episodes 5 and 6.
Dispatch follows Robert Roberson, also known as Mecha Man, whose mech-suit is destroyed after battling his nemesis. This incident causes him to work at a superhero dispatch center. He finds himself in charge of rehabilitating ex-supervillains, managing the roster, office relationships, and rebuilding Mecha Man’s suit.
Every decision impacts the narrative, and the strategy map allows players to review ongoing emergencies, assessing which character should be sent to address them.
